The Doctoral Colloquium is an opportunity to discuss your research goals, methods, and results at an early enough stage, and to receive useful guidance to improve the research effort. Students will also have the opportunity to obtain guidelines for publishing papers on prestigious journals and academic publications. Doctoral research at different levels of development (previous, ready for, and after doctoral proposal defense) can be sent. The Doctoral Colloquium will also allow participants to interact among themselves and with members of an BALAS academic network from the U.S., Hispanic America, and other parts of the world. BALAS Doctoral Colloquium 2021 will be Online! The health and well-being of our members and participants is our number one priority in the decision to change the BALAS Doctoral Colloquium 2020 from a face-to-face gathering to a virtual event. The Doctoral Colloquium Co-chairs and the BALAS Conference Committee are working diligently to develop the format and technology for the virtual event.
