ESAN, established in July of 1963, was the first graduate school of business in the Spanish speaking world. Having educated business leaders throughout Latin America and the world for over 40 years, it became the Universidad ESAN in 2003.

BALAS presentation at CLADEA:

CLADEAVirginia Lasio, dean of the ESPAE Graduate School of Management, organized a BALAS panel at the 2009 CLADEA meeting in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The panelists who shared diverse views on sustainability included Juan Carlos Blum, manager of Efficacitas; Inés Manzano, director of legal and environmental area of Estudio Jurídico Manzano & Asociados; Lourdes Luque, manager of Desarrollo Económico de SNV; and Christian Bakker, director of corporate responsibility for PRONACA. Victoria Jones, executive director of BALAS and associate dean of international relations at UTSA moderated the panel. .
