Institutional Members - Loyola University New Orleans

Committed to Latin American Business

Located in historic, culturally diverse, and exciting New Orleans, Loyola University New Orleans' College of Business Administration (CBA) offers the Bachelor of Business Administration degree with majors in Economics, Finance, International Business, Management and Marketing; a Bachelor of Accountancy; and graduate programs that lead to MBA or joint JD/MBA degrees. The MBA programs, in accelerated day and professional evening formats, offer three concentrations: marketing, international business, and finance. All programs emphasize leadership, entrepreneurship, and business ethics, and are taught with a global perspective. Loyola's personal approach, from a 13 to 1 student to faculty ratio, is the foundation of a rich education based on its Jesuit tradition and its pursuit for academic excellence.

Faculty members--including four endowed Chair Professors and eight Distinguished Professors-- are easily accessible and very sensitive to the students' diverse needs and cultural backgrounds.   During the past decade they have implemented eight applied research projects in Latin America.   The College's specialized course offerings include several focusing on Latin America's Business Environment and Practices, offered both on campus and through study trips to the region.

The student body is very diverse. Among MBAs almost 25% are international; about 50% have degrees in engineering, journalism, education, and other fields.   Among undergraduates, close to 40% are international and minority students. Students have access to state-of-the-art technology in every classroom and computer labs; a world-class library; a support staff facilitating the required internships; and valuable and very strong relationships with both the local business community and Loyola's global alumni network.
